As a substitute for 1.1.1-trichloroethane and other chlorinated solvents, FASTCLEAN 201 responds to the needs of users for all degreasing and surface preparation:
- Equivalent evaporation speed
- High degreasing power
- Improved surface tension
- Compatible with most plastics
- High settling power dirt and grease sink to bottom of tank
Benefits
- Clear, low odour and quick drying
- High solvency on most oils and greases yet is compatible with most plastics
- Fast evaporation practically the same as 1.1.1-trichloroethatne but leaves the surface dry
- Extremely low surface tension means improved surface wetting to get under dirt more effectively
Low density allows dirt and grease to sink to the bottom of a tank rather than rise to the surface as with 1.1.1-trichloroethane cleaned parts emerge properly cleaned and not covered in scum. Contains no stabilizers hence eliminating hydrolysis.
Typical Uses
- Excellent for removing whole or soluble oils of synthetic origin used for the lubrication of metals and in press or machining operations
- Rapidly removes oil or waxy temporary protection products
- Can be used for cleaning substrates coated in organic or non-organic compounds prior to assembly.
- Chemical and electro-chemical surface treatment.
- Bonding or painting.
- Will also clean electric motors to comply without affecting insulating varnishes.
- Can be used as a thinner of many organic materials, including silicone oils.
Typical Characteristics
- Physical Appearance: Clear, colourless liquid Visual
- Odour: Slight Olfactory
- Solubility in water: Insoluble
