This kit has been designed with portability and practicality in mind, fitting securely around the waist. Concerns are sometimes expressed about treating children at school, however, the option of not handling such playground injuries can pose greater risks from infection than those presumed to exist from using any of the child-friendly products selected for this kit. Although the first aid regulations do not require employers to provide first aid for non-employees, the HSE "strongly encourages" employers to consider them when carrying out their risk assessment and to "make appropriate provision for them".
